What should I do if a death has occurred?

Do you serve families of all faiths?
Yes. Our knowledgeable associates serve families of all faiths, beliefs, cultures and backgrounds.
Can I plan a funeral in advance?
Yes. You can meet with us in person or virtually to record your wishes and arrange services ahead of time. Call (337) 364-1881 to schedule an appointment, or send us a note.
Can arrangements be made without coming in?
Yes. Complete funeral planning, including electronic signature, can be done by phone or email without a visit to the funeral home.
Do you offer cremation?
Yes. We offer cremation services, cremation remembrance jewelry, and home delivery or mail delivery of ashes (sent by postal service, signature required). See all Evangeline Funeral Home services.
Can a service be personalized?
Always. It can be as simple as sharing photographs, videos and keepsakes, or as personal as serving your loved one's favorite Cajun cuisine through our catering service. We also produce tribute videos.
What amenities do you have?
Reserved veteran parking, a coffee lounge, overnight visitations, black car service and police escorts. We're also pet friendly. See our parlors and porch in the photo tour of our home.
